Religious area of kaski

As we all are familiar that Nepal is a country believing in traditional culture, rites and religious, norms and values, kaski is the districted situated in the lap of big himalayas. There is one saying that big thoughts had always arised from the lap of mountain or big forest, so kaski is rich and evergreen in manupulating such optimistic thoughts. Talbarahi temple, Bindebasini temple, Bhadrakali temple, Manakamana temple, Kalika temple, Akala devi temple, Gandaki river, Shanti stupa Panchase temple are some major religious area of kaski.

Talbarahi temple is one of the famous temple in kaski situated in the pokhara valley. It is located in the central part of Fewa lake which is about 6km north west from the central part of pokhara valley. Majority of tourists and nepalese pilgrimes visit fewa lake and the barahi temple and enzoy the beautiful scene of Machapuchhere in the north. 5 minutes of boating from shore of fewa lake is enough to reach barahi mandir.

Barahi temple is one of the beautiful monuments in pokhara built in two-storied pagoda design which is dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima, the protectress deity representing the female force Shakti. Devotees can be seen, especially on Saturdays, carrying male animals and fowl across the lake to be sacrificed to the deity.

Bindebasini temple  is one of the famous temple of Hindu in Nepal. It is located in the northern west part of pokhara valley near about 4 km northern west of central point of pokhra valley.These are the picture of Bindebasini temple of pokhara.
 

Bhadrakali temple is also regarded as one of the dazzling and fabulous creation in the pokhara valley. It is located in matepani and about 10 minutes of driving from the prithivi chowk i.e. the central part of pokhara valley makes able to reach in this temple. This temple is famous being suitable area for conducting weeding ceremony. Ma Bhadrakali is immortal as her victory of truth against fake, good against evil, light against dark and the superficious victory of god against demons.

Kalika temple, Akaladevi temple Panchase temple are also the beautiful and fabulous holy area of kaski where most of the pilgrims visit. Kalika temple is located in kalika vdc that is 10km north from the prithivi highway. Most of the pilgrims visit this temple during Dashain and Tihar with khasi boka ranga beliving that their hot blood pleases kalima and then the inner willings of such pilgrims will be completed.
